A rally, just without timing. And it was tough... One week in Bosnia, everyday 250-350km through Bosnias rocky mountains following very basic roadbook, without any electronical confirmation that you are on the right route - good challenge and even better navigation school! As always - I did everything Malle moto style and was there completely on my own. In the morning I was starting early, to finish stages around lunch time, so I would have enough time to prepare KTM for next stage. Was lucky enough to meet few KTM Factory Racing engineers, who gave valuable tips, which I will use in the next outing on the KTM already in World championship!

Shortly after Breslau rally I flew to Italy, Venice to compete in Italian BAJA! This time I was navigator for American Taz Harvey, who I met in past Dakar. It was both mine and Taz first time in BAJA style race in Europe, but we didn't set expectations too high. Taz is planning to go to Dakar Classic 2026 with the same Nissan Terrano II which we raced in BAJA, so goal was to test the car, find what can be improved and bring it back to the Tecnosport team in one piece. Funny enough - careful tactics paid off, we eneded up 4th in our class, just few minutes shy from podium! In Italian BAJA trick is - every mistake cost you a lot of time, and we were just making fewer of them than others.

First rally on KTM RALLY bike! Goal was to get used to the bike as much as possible, don't get into trouble, test different settings and try out my Malle Moto setup (80L box containing all parts and tools for whole rally). Breslau rally isn't a normal cross-country rally, it is more cross-country Enduro race, as most stages happen in training fields of military. Tank tracks, sand, forest mud, rain, night stage - sounds like slow, tought, but fun rally! All in all I eneded 15th from 48 starters, stages were much more suitable for lighter-shorter bikes, as well I didn't have enough experience to choose right tyres and fuel strategy - but keeping in mind my goal - I have finished and learned quite a few things!

While waiting for my first rally in Poland, I had to get some riding time - and decided something rather stupid - go for Endruo race on my MX Yamaha... Other guys were looking strange to my choice and they were right. 4 hour race was a real torture for me - hard MX tyres were not gripping on wet rocks, having only kick-start made every stall a nightmare. But hey - I didn't go there for an easy ride! Couldn't say I have enjoyed all 4 hours, but have managed to end up in middle of finishers, quite exhausted, BUT - with much more experience!

Shortly after finishing 2025 Dakar rally in 3rd overall - I was contacted by a manager of Dakar Classic team Compagnie Saharienne. Offer was clear - become a professional co-pilot for their team in upcoming Dakar rally, assisting their customer to reach highest positions. Will be in a team together with Indonesian rally drvier Shammy, knowing his rally experience I am confident, that we have all the chances to repeat success! Compagnie Saharienne race cars are all Toyotas - I will be in Toyota Land Cruiser 78, which in the past was Dakar official support car. Looking forward to this interesting chapter!

Dakar Classic victory wasn't a cheap price to pay - my body was exhausted and got some kind of infection in Saudi, body temperature was over 39 degrees, and bed was my friend for 3 weeks. But my mind wasn't resting and I was even more convinced that going Dakar on the motorbike is a reality. BAS racing team located near me in Nederlands were selling older type models, as they are fully switching to newest KTM RALLY replica models and I was fortunate to get one. Knowing that BAS is a top private team - motorcycle was as new with some parts even upgraded!

We came and We won 3rd place Overall in 2025 Dakar Rally Classic! Out of more than 80 competitors we managed to stay up through both weeks without major mistakes. By no means it was an easy task - me and Karolis were only persons of the team, so during day time I was co-pilot, during the nights - full time mechanic to keep Land Rover running. Even Classics do not really compete for speed - our days were most of the time longest from all competitors. Starting as early as first motorbikes leave and coming back with trucks. That said - was a really good experience towards my Bike Dakar!

New partner to my journey! Ovoko is an internation company which is an online marketplace where car parts sellers, auto dismantlers, and recyclers meet car dealers, mechanics, and enthusiasts. Their goal is to make 2nd hand car parts mainstream and accessible around the world, while guaranteeing quality and provide easy-to-use return policies. But best part isn't mentioned - Ovoko has a fast-action minded team, and already proven with their swift help for Dakar Classic project.

Just before leaving to Morocco for my 2 week rally adventure - I got an offer to become Co-pilot in Dakar Classic category! Karolis Raisys will be a pilot and he had already started preparing 1978 Land Rover Defender for this task. Even my goal is to compete on 2 wheels - this experience will definitely help me along the way. As well - entries for motos are limited for Dakar, so any experience helps to get a spot. At this stage - we have just finished preparing our race car, without testing brought it to Barcelona for technical checks and shipping to Saudi Arabia. All checks passed without issues and one month later we will see our old Land rover in Saudi!

My first Cross-Country rally - Finished 14th overall! And it was a blast. Camp prepared me very well - same equipment (Stella) was used, similar road book. We had Prologue + 5 stages and I have surprised everyone at the Prologue already - finished 3rd and chosen to open the Stage 1! That was my best luck in beginning by not following others and minding my own navigation. In first stages I was struggling to keep up with big bikes - mine had just 1/3 of power of others, so decided to take calm but well navigated route for my rally. In first 3 stages I was below middle of the field - lack of speed on straights, lack of cooling in dunes made me struggle a lot and I was just loosing time. BUT - I kept it constant, no penalties, all waypoints taken, no crazy navigational errors and most importantly - didn't injure myself or bike. And here we are - finished in 14th overall above many experienced riders! Super happy with my performance and clear mind through hard working week in the desert!

Nomadas team hosted 1st edition of Rally camp - shortly - a full scale cross-country rally, with real road books, real navigation and real challenges - just without time pressure. As it was 1st edition, only 12 participants competed. For me it was more than perfect - great attention and tips from crew helped me to get into navigation details quickly and during 7 day rally camp. Because there was no time pressure, it was great opportunity to understand which speed should I choose in Rally: drive faster - more navi errors, drive too slow and days will become veeeerry long. As well - I broke my rally tower in day 1, so I had enough time to modify my bike to be totally ready for Addax. Apart bikes - great people attended camp, with some became close friends!

One week, 5000km from which half was pure Off-road through Pyrenees mountains from Mediterranean sea to Atlantic ocean. I traveled alone and didn't camp - I already had quite some items with me for Rally. Plan was to do this trip, leave bike in Madrid and later continue to Morocco. Journey from Germany to southern Pyrenees was easy, as first few days traveling from sea to Andorra. However then struggles started with a flat tyre, just after repairs rains started and I still had more than 1000km to cover in mountains - eventually it was a real mental test for me, getting soaked, nearly finished tyres just kept sliding on wet mud and visibility wasn't ideal - not what you wish for holiday in Spain... All in all - had lots of seat time, roamed through complete Pyrenees, left bike in Madrid ready for Rally.

Addax Rally, in which I will be competing in November, has released stages map. More than 1200km of pure desert, most of the stages will purely special stage with almost no liasons. Even total rally distance doesn't look too long, but mostly having only special stages it means a hard working week! Very comfortable feature of this rally - static Bivouac, it means every night will be spent in Merzouga and service teams and all spares won't need any traveling.

Long relationships never fails - Liqui Moly Lithuania will lubricate my way to DAKAR :)). Been using Liqui Moly lubricants for at least last 10 years in the hardest conditions like professional drift cars and also Nurburgring rental race car and never had any issue caused by poor lubrication. This would be my go to oil anyway, but I am lucky enough to announce, that Liqui Moly will be sponsoring me and on my way to Dakar I shouldn't run out of quality oils!

Just after purchasing my first MX bike - Yamaha YZ250F I was eager to test it out. As it was a used motorbike, quite a few hours had to be spent to make sure new-used bike was safe, tho not perfect to go riding and jumping. First training in local track went really well - no crashes, bike didn't cause any issue and I understood there is plenty to learn riding dirty and dusty MX tracks! Jumps were a new thing to me, dirt tracks not - so first training was more of just first understanding what MX racing is about.

While Nurburging was closed for the whole week for N24H race - I couldn't resist to take on the trip. This time together with @Sheraszyske driven through mountainous and scenic roads in Italian Alps - from boarder of Slovenia to Lake Como. Was a first longer trip on little Honda and it did everything just great, well apart highways... But @Sheraszyske being him - took his stunt Ninja through all the same rough and sometimes with snow roads.

Honda dealers were making 1000 euro discount on current stock and I couldn't resist of buying the bike which I had my eyes for a while - became an owner of new Honda CRF300 Rally! I knew upfront that suspension will need an upgrade, also it is not as powerful as Orange bikes, but it's a long lasting multi-purpose machine and I am glad I took discounted offer. Modifications straight away were ordered too - better front and rear suspension, tyres, barkbusters and heated grips, as well as crash bars - I know I will drop it on the first day out...
